10 USEFUL PHRASES WHILE TRAVELLING TO INDONESIA

Visiting another country can be hard, especially if we don't understand the language. If you happen you visit Indonesia in the near future, here ara some useful and common expressions used during conversations.


Note: these are non-formal expressions typically used by locals. 
  1. Berapa? --> How much does it cost?
  2. Mau ke hotel --> I want to go to hotel
  3. Saya pesan nasi goreng ---> I want to order nasi goreng 
  4. Di mana ada warung? --> where is warung?
  5. Makasih --> thank you
  6. Tidak usah --> don't bother
  7. Jauh atau dekat? --> is it far or close?
  8. Mahal banget --> It's so expensive. 
  9. Murah banget --> it's so cheap.
  10. Tolong bantu saya --> please help me
