Penggunaan A dan An dalam Bahasa Inggris

A and An are used for singular noun. So, what makes them different?

#AN is used if the Noun followed has vocal sound at the beginning of the word.
Apple : an apple
Eye     : an eye
Hour  : an hour
(remember!!!  It has vocal sound not letter)

#A is used if the Noun followed has consonant sound at the beginning of the word
Bike : a bike
Car : a car
Pineapple : A pineapple
University : A University

KENAPA BISA DI BATAM?

Aku ngga pernah berencana untuk bekerja atau bahkan tinggal di Batam; salah satu kota di propinsi Kepulauan Riau, Indonesia. It all happened very quickly . I even still had lots of things to do in my previous workplace and community that I pioneered in Pekanbaru on the day I flew to this city . I moved to completely different situation that till this hour, it often stresses me out.
