Simple Present Continous Tense



Purpose          : To tell an activity(activities) or event(s) which is(are) on progress. (Untuk menyatakan kegiatan atau peristiwa yang sedang berlangsung).

1No Nominal Sentence

2 Verbal Sentence
Formula:

                Subject + tobe (is/am/are) + Verb-ing + Complement (Pelengkap)

Examples:
a.       I am listening to music (saya sedang mendengarkan music)
b.      She is cooking fried rice (Dia (pr) sedang memasak nasi goreng)
c.       They are licking their ice cream (mereka sedang menjilati es krim mereka)

Simple Present Continous in positive, negative, and interrogative:
(+) Zayn is singing a song
(-) Zayn is not singing a song/ Zayn isn’t singing a song
(?) Is Zayn singing a song?
Yes, he is                             No, he is not/ No, he isn’t
